So for today, I will tell you my damn sad story of how my guest list of 5 shrank to a mere 1

2 weeks ago when I received the call from the cookie museum, I was really excited as I felt that this would be an awesome opportunity to meet up with some OLD friends. And when I say old, It means PRIMARY school friends. So I decided to call up this guy D to do some catching up.

A short description bout D:

D was my platonic friend when I was in Primary 3. We hung out with each other as though we were siblings.

One fine day, my parents decided to move house and I was transferred to another primary school.

Despite all that, we still contacted each other every sunday. We talked for hours on the phone and I remembered taking all my 10 cent and 20 cent coins from my dear piggy bank to make public phone calls to him. I could spend up to $4 a day just by talking to him on the phone. That was how close we were.

Sadly, when we turned 13, we lost contact for a long time. Until recently when I saw him quite active on Facebook. I decided to rekindle this friendship of ours.

However, all my efforts went down the drain when he decided his secondary friends were more important than me.

I was devastated

But I didn't give up

*back to NOW*

When I received the news about being invited to the cookie museum, I immediately thought of him(maybe not really immediately, but he was definitely in my top 3 guest list). So I CALLED him.

When he finally picked up the phone, I invited him to join me.

He said" I need to check whether I'm going out with my friends or not 1st. I'll confirm with u soon"

So I was like..."oook. Sure"

One week later...

NO NEWS

One day before cookie museum day...

NO NEWS

Meanwhile, I waited. Anticipating the day I would receive this miracle call from him.

but there was nothing

Imagine my anger and disappointment..

God forgive me for being such a mean person

Anyway,

D is not the 1st case.

There are many other people doing the same things as well...
