nothing in particular
just wanted to blog about the random things that happened over the past 2 weeks.Things that made me happy:
1) Spending lots of quality time with my boy. We may not be all lovey-dovey like new couples but I (i'm not sure about him) love to just have his company. We could be just watching TV, baking, sleeping on the couch, reading a book, roughing around (hitting/beating/tickling each other) gaming etc, and still have so much fun and laughter together.
Just last night, we had a serious conversation about religion. As many should know now, i am dating a Malay muslim. The whole religion thing is an issue we have to overcome. I wanted to understand his religion and he wanted to know more about mine. So yea, we talked. nothing of real substance though and we ended the topic rather quickly.
Unlike many other couples, we also talk about ethical dilemmas, politics, evolution, science, blah blah blah. Sometimes I feel as though I am in my 30s when I'm with him. Suddenly so matured, so intellectual, so...OLD.
But anyho, being with him made me a much better person today. I am happy.
2) I baked carrot cakes! And according to my boy and my old man, it tasted really good! I am happy.
3) I have finally received my CoE Certificate!!!! I am officially a student in Monash University! =D (provided my visa gets through) Made my payment of AUD17,000 and WALA! Aussie in feb!
4) Daddy is awesome! God is AWESOME-R!!! God works in so many ways that I can never understand. He allowed me to meet my bf (a muslim), who was going to Australia. Gave me the chance to also go Aussie so that I can go with him. Provided me with the grades, the finance and the support. I am so happy that dad is 100% supportive in my relationship and my choice to go Aussie. He even planned out the whole "after-you-get-a-degree" path for me. After 1 year in aussie, my dad will be buying me a house there. Meanwhile, I have to work hard for my PR.
For my bachelor course, getting a PR is hard as hell. Only those in a specialized field will be granted PR there, also known as the science ppl/engineer ppl/medical ppl. Thankfully, my bf is in the science field. So he can get PR. This is when my new house comes into the picture. You see, with my new house, my bf can move in with me. After 3 years of living together, I automatically becomes his spouse. Once he gets his PR, I can also apply for one because I AM HIS SPOUSE.
so yes. This is the plan for now.
Things that made me unhappy:
1) Asyraaf going back to Jakarta. Makes me really sad every time he leaves me. And this time it's for 11 day!
2) Singapore is boring. Nothing to do. No where interesting to go. Everything needs money money money. And I REFUSE to give it to them.
3) Mom is extremely stereotypical and racist towards my bf. >=(
4) I cannot find time to travel.
Things I need to do ASAP:
1) Get my VISA done for University.
2) Plan my Bday in Langkawi!
3) Plan Julia's bday when she comes back.
4) Get my health checkup done for visa stuff. (and inform the doctor to club me unconscious before drawing my blood)
