As most of my old friends would know, I was really one hell of an ugly, fat bitch 5 years ago.

Then

NOW

Weight: 45
Hair: Mid length and (not so) awesome (now) (but damaged)
Stats: 30- 24-31
Size: XS-S, US 0-2, UK 6

So what are my secrets?

1) Exercise (for lazy people like myself, you don't have to do it after you're done with your desired weight. Just MAINTAIN... refer to part 2)

Back then,  I would run 1km every single day and eat only an apple during lunch break in school. I would also volunteer to run with the fat kids in school to cheer them on and give them some support. This whole running thing lasted for about 6 month and I lost about 2 to 3kg.

Find a sport you're interested in. Like tennis, or surfing or badminton.

GET A GYM BUDDY. 100% motivation boost. Sux to workout alone :(

2) Eat well. For the first few months, I shunned fatty food like sweets, deep fried food and anything that has LOTS OF OIL. Ate a lot of veggies like tomatoes, lettuces and boiled cauliflower and liquid food like yogurt and soup.

TIP 1: liquid food will give you PLENTY of nutrients and keep you FULL for long periods of time. Why? Liquid takes up a lot of space in our tummy and since all the good stuff are now dissolved into  "compounds" , it gets absorbed really quickly compared to solid food that need breaking down blah blah blah.

TIP 2: Drink plenty of water before and after your meal. If you drink it before your meal, you'll feel much fuller and so your solid food intake is lessen. Same goes for after your meal so you won't think of eating desserts.

TIP 3: Use a smaller plate (bout 10 inch). So that when you finish everything on the plate, your brain will be fooled into thinking that you're full.

TIP 4: DO NOT. I repeat. D-O N-O-T put chocolates, sweets, or any snacks on your table or anywhere near you when you're studying/working. YOU WILL BE TEMPTED TO FINISH EVERYTHING.  True story.

TIP 5: Drink tea. Some Slimming tea will have light laxative effects that will help your bowels to move better. Nuff said.

TIP 6: Have meals at a fixed time. So your body knows when it should start the engine and break down those food!

TIP 7: SPICY FOOD!! (not for the weak) It has been proven that eating chilli will help increase metabolism rate.

3) Be confident. Refer to pic 1. Confident? HELL NO! Pic 2. Awwww yeah. You know what they say, confidence is a woman's best makeup
